Backed by Bridgepoint Capital, The Dining Club Group comprises of the three leading dining discount card schemes in the UK and ROI: tastecard, gourmet society and hi-life, founded in 2006, 2003 and 1984 respectively.

All three brands were initially launched with two main aims; to support restaurants by encouraging people to dine out more often, and to help members by making dining out more affordable. In times of economic uncertainty we gave, and continue to give, our members the opportunity to save money without compromising on their lifestyles; and help restaurants to continue trading.

Now, in 2019, The Dining Club Group is collectively the largest dining club in the world, with over four million members and over 10,000 participating restaurants across our three brands. We are proud to say that our members currently spend in excess of £600M annually in our restaurants; ensuring that our dining co-operative proposition remains strong.

“Our dining memberships offer a distinctive and versatile incentive for customer acquisition and a tool to engage and retain your employees.”

-Michael Kalli, Commercial Director
